In 1990, a law called the American With Disabilities Act – or simply “ADA” for short – passed. The ADA is an all-encompassing civil rights laws designed to prohibit discrimination against any individuals with disabilities in all areas of public life, whether that be the workplace, at school, on transportation services, and in virtually any other places that are open to the general public. Naturally, at our various MCOP facilities, we take every possible precaution to ensure that people with disabilities – people who are our clients, friends, and family – have stress-free access to the exact same amount of accommodations as anybody else.
