Our Story

A history of unparalleled prosthetic & orthotic care

The MCOP Story

Founded in 2002 by Mike Corcoran, CPO and Mark McVicker, CPO, Medical Center O&P has been providing state-of-the-art prosthetic and orthotic care to patients all across the country – and beyond!

Over the decades our ever-expanding team, with diverse experience from various sized prosthetic and orthotic companies. These include both large, publicly-traded organizations, as well as smaller “mom-and-pop” companies (and everything in between).

However, no matter who our client is, our goal is to always provide individualized care that allows each patient to maximize their potential. This commitment to excellence has propelled MCOP to become both a national and international leader in the field of prosthetics and orthotics, including arm and hand, bilateral, hip, and various other specialties.

In addition, since 2005, MCOP has had the honor of being the exclusive contractor of lower-extremity prosthetics for our nation’s wounded warriors, providing hundreds of our nation’s heroes with the highest possible level of care. Our relationship with these wounded warriors continues to this day, all because of the steadfast commitment and unmatched expertise our team provides when assisting with their battlefield injuries.

Whether you need an artificial limb, an orthopedic brace, or any other sort of rehabilitative services or devices, MCOP is here to offer the highest-quality personalized service to all ages. And no matter how complex the issue, our first priority is always you.

In fact, our dedication to providing unparalleled service is also evident in our staff’s willingness to always go the extra mile. Whether you need answers to complex insurance claims, help with understanding intricate Medicare rules, or a quick response for a broken device, our staff is always ready to take action.

This client-oriented mission is also apparent in each of our facilities, as all of MCOP’s offices are fully accessible with convenient parking, curb cuts, and wheelchairs. In addition, our staff takes pride in providing child-friendly play areas, which helps put our younger clients at ease while offering their siblings an outlet for their energy.
