Sean has long had a passion for rehabilitation, having grown up working for his mother’s Physical Therapy practice. It was here he decided a career in O&P would best align with his interests in technology, biomechanics, rehabilitation and physics. He attended the University of Hartford and achieved his Masters of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics (MSPO).
During Sean’s early career he worked in a variety of treatment environments including outpatient, hospital, spinal clinic and post operative care. Here he honed his skills in the evaluation and fabrication of custom lower limb prosthetics, upper limb, cranial and spinal orthoses. Upon receiving his board ABC Certification, Sean began work as a Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist in Raleigh, NC then Washington, DC.
Sean began working for Medical Center Orthotics & Prosthetics in April 2019 as the Clinic Manager of the Washington, DC office. Here he served to establish relationships with local physicians treating patients at amputee clinic and rehab facilities throughout the area. He worked to provide expert care to amputees and residents of the DC community, helping our patients to “Move Forward” with their independence and activities of daily life.
He currently resides in Greenville, SC where he has taken on a new challenge within MCOP as the new Clinic Manager of MCOP – Greenville. His expertise in custom transtibial, transfemoral, bilateral amputee and microprocessor technology will help elevate patients to a new level of independence.
Sean’s interests outside of work include playing hockey, spending time with his wife, and two golden retrievers. They enjoy hiking, traveling, going to Swamp Rabbit and Drive games, and discovering new restaurants – all interests that attracted him to the beautiful city of Greenville.
