Ben achieved his Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Health Services from Saint Joseph’s University where he was awarded an academic and track scholarship.
Following graduation, Ben started working as a PT assistant in a local rehabilitation hospital where his interest in prosthetics began. In 2005 he transitioned to the field of O & P as a technician at the OPC office in Fairfax until his decision to return to school to become a clinician in 2006. After graduating from Cal State Dominquez Hills, Ben returned to the area to complete his residency and became a certified prosthetist in 2007.
Ben covers the Northern Virginia area as a tenured ABC-certified prosthetist. He provides exceptional care for lower limb amputees and is an expert in upper extremity prosthetics with a passion for integrating the available technologies to each individual’s unique goals and lifestyle. As an NCAA Div. 1 track athlete, Ben is particularly tuned in to helping his patients regain their mobility.
Outside of the office, Ben holds a strong belief in the value of educating current students on the field of O & P. Ben has lectured introductory courses in both Loudoun and Fairfax County school districts, as well as helping to develop the O & P portion of Shenandoah University’s Physical Therapy Program.
Ben currently resides in Loudoun County with his wife, 2 dogs, and 4 cats. Together, they own what was originally an old dairy farm and have been converting it to a horse farm. When he is not rehabilitating the old buildings on the property, Ben can be found raising chickens, riding horses, walking dogs and running on the back country roads.
